Devisha Long

My name is Devisha. I have been a doula for the past five years, an herbalist in training, and a registered nurse with 13 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have served as a strong advocate for my patients, bringing a unique blend of clinical knowledge and holistic healing practices. I understand medical language while also integrating herbal support to help the body heal naturally.

My passion has always been rooted in helping others. After experiencing my own birth and postpartum challenges, I felt called to advocate more deeply for mothers and families during these transformative stages. I approach every family (mother, child, father, and sibling) with the highest level of care, attentiveness, and respect.

Through Una Orenda Wuti, I offer genuine love, support, and encouragement, while also providing an added layer of protection, education, and understanding within the birthing space. I recognize that birth work is both a gift and an honor. It is also an act of resilience, especially in the face of ongoing disparities impacting Black and Brown communities. I am deeply grateful to serve and support families on their journey.
